Safety

We want askgrandad.com to be safe, secure, interesting and useful.

We want it to be the site grandchildren come to for answers to their homework questions, to learn about the countless different experiences our Grandads have had – and the site Grandads come to, to record their experiences of life.

While we think that it will be really great both for all our grandads and all our grandchildren to talk together and to learn from one another; we are very concerned that others, perhaps with stranger intentions, may try to exploit our site. Therefore this site is arranged in such a way that no one – not even the moderator has any contact with anybody asking us questions. We do not know the identity or email addresses of those that contact us – and nor can anyone else!

All your contributions - your questions, answers, memories, reminiscences, stories - come anonymously to the moderator who vets them and if satisfied with the content, posts them on the site.

Any ‘unsuitable’ material received will simply end up in the bin!
